| ball python reversed shedding. wtf??
my ball python seemed like she was going to shed. she started looking like a dull grape, then eventually turned all grey, and her eyes silvered over. especially in comparison to her cagemate who is not yet shedding, it was obvious it was gonna happen any day.
i then fed her, cause even though they say a snake may not eat during their shed, i figured it was up to the snake to decide that, and she gladdly ate her weekly mouse. the next day, she stopped being grey and her eyes cleared up, but there is no snake shed anywhere in the tank!! and when i handle her, she feels weird, like brittle sellophane or something, so i'm pretty sure her she didn't shed. what can i do to make her shed again?? is this normal for them to reverse a shed??
