Which card to use for 1080i on LCD TV ?

I am interested in purchasing the Westinghouse LMV-37w1 37" LCD TV to use as
a computer monitor. It is supposedly only 1 of 2 LCD-TVs that gives you
1920x1080 (1080i ?) native resolution.

I am not a techie however and am very confused as to what type of graphics
card I need in order to take full advantage of the 1920x1080 resolution.
Do I need one that specifically indicates it supports 1920x1080? If the
card vendor indicates that the card supports 1080i ... will that do the
trick?

Thanks.

If the TV uses a generic DVI connector you can use every Nvidia card you
want, except some el-cheapo incarnations of the Geforce FX5200.
1920x1080 is doable with Single Link DVI and Reduced Blanking which is
supported by almost all current and even not-that-current cards...

You don't need 1080i for the Westinghouse--it supports 1080p, which any
decent video board can deliver, although you may have to use Powerstrip
