81.95.. well this is wierd

Has anyone else noticed that Dets 81.95 heat up their card?
My 6600gt would heat up so much that in games my system would reboot. I of
course suspected that my fan is dying or something like that. With 81.94
everything is back to normal and my system is "rock solid".

I just don´t understand how drivers can affect the temp so much, even in 2d
my temps were 10-20 degrees higher.. wieeerd.

I don't have the probs. 7800gt

but I know that some old drivers (don't know which nr.) had the same bug.
Perhaps there is a temp bug.
