| what should i do with my dvd-rom in an aspire laptop in vista os if the drive
cannot be found. REPLY ASAP. TNX Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39) Click 'Check for solutions' to send data about this device to Microsoft and to see if there is a solution available.  |

If windows vista cant detect your DVD rom chances are its not compatible or your DVD rom is busted. Normally the operating system like Windows XP or others like Vista should auto detect this device upon turning on your computer. There is also a possibility that your oeperating systems is corrupted or has a virus in it.
