Keyboard on computer works half the time?

We have a desktop computer with Windows XP and for some reason, the keyboard will just randomly stop working. Usually it can be fixed by restarting the computer, but I still would like to know why this keeps happening. Anybody ever have this problem before?

i'm not sure about this ,maybe you can try like this: go to start ,control panel then you press the name keyboard ..maybe you can change somewhere there ... because i see they always change things over there ..hope it will help you ^^

Go to your device manager by right clicking on your my computer icon, then click on properties, then go to device manger. Once in device manager reinstall your keyboard or just the drivers for it. I think im not sure but if you uninstall the driver for yhe keyboard I think XP autamtically finds it again as long as its hooked up. Hope this helps.
