Can I use Crossfire with two ATI video cards of different manufacturers?

Currently, I own a SAPPHIRE Radeon x1950 PRO (512MB, PCI-e). I plan on purchasing the exact same card in order to use the Crossfire technology.

However, SAPPHIRE does not manufacture x1950 PRO's anymore. I have found other x1950 PRO's that are from companies like POWERCOLOR, DIAMOND, and GECUBE.

Will using Crossfire between:

SAPPHIRE Radeon X1950 PRO

and...

POWERCOLOR Radeon x1950 PRO

... work?

I've found that DIAMOND's x1950 PRO is quite similar to SAPPHIRE'S. Here are the specs:

I'm still waiting for more answers so I can confirm whether or not I should buy a different manufacturer's card.
